Job Description

We’re on the hunt for our next Assistant Manager to help keep the Leisure Inn buzzing and loved by the locals. Sitting on Read Street in the centre of Rockingham, Leisure Inn is in the heart of the community. A stone's throw away from the shores of Rockingham Beach and less than an hour drive south of Perth CBD, we're the perfect getaway to experience the best of Western Australia's coastline. Our spacious bistro has the everything our guests want for their overdue family lunch, a catch up with mates or an intimate date night.

Job Responsibility

  • Get to know the locals so well they think you’re part of their crew
  • Support the Publican to keep the pub running smoothly, safely, and with a great vibe
  • Learn the ropes of being a Publican while leading a team
  • Handle hiccups before they turn into headaches
  • Bring the energy, the service, and the smiles every single shift

Requirements

  • Current RSA and Approved Manager Card as per WA state requirements
  • Ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently (manual handling, lifting stock, kegs, deliveries)
  • Experience around the bar, bistro, or gaming room block
  • Some supervising experience
  • Learned from great managers
  • Confidence, pride, and people skills to be the face of the pub when the boss is away
