Job Description:

Join Circle K as an Assistant Manager. We offer comprehensive training, leadership opportunities, and a dynamic work environment. Responsibilities include assisting the store manager, overseeing operations, leading a team, and ensuring high customer service and food quality standards.

Job Responsibility:

Assist the store manager with oversight of the station store operations
help with hiring, supervising and working with the staff to accomplish daily tasks, bookkeeping, and merchandising
maintain high standards and provide fast and friendly service to customers
provide regular and predictable onsite attendance
execute the food program at high standards
lead a team of employees/management
recruit, interview, and hire
delegate and follow-up
teach and motivate others
plan and organize
communicate plans and ideas
cash-handling and bookkeeping
problem-solving
advocate and empathize
ensure safety and security

Requirements:

Flexible availability
ability to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours
ability to lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead up to 30 minutes in a shift
occasionally lift and/or carry up to 60 pounds from ground to waist level
push/pull with arms up to a force of 20 pounds
bend at the waist with some twisting up to one hour a shift
grasp, reach and manipulate objects with hands
high school/college degree(s) preferred
retail experience
supervisor or management experience
recruiting/hiring/interviewing skills
experience handling food
