We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Assistant Manager to join our team at 713 N. 77 Sunshine Strip in Harlingen. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting daily store operations, leading team members, and ensuring exceptional customer service.
Job Responsibility:
Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations and achieving sales targets
Lead, motivate, and train team members to maintain high performance standards
Ensure excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining a positive shopping environment
Manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and organizing merchandise
Implement and maintain visual merchandising standards
Assist in hiring, scheduling, and evaluating team members
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations
Handle cash management and financial reporting responsibilities
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions
Step in for the Store Manager when necessary
Requirements:
Proven experience in retail or customer service, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members
Excellent customer service skills and a customer-focused mindset
Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in basic computer applications and point-of-sale systems
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
Nice to have:
Retail industry knowledge and experience with visual merchandising a plus
