The Oxley Tavern is looking for a high-energy, floor-focused Assistant Manager who lives for the buzz of a packed house and a high-performing team. "The Oxley" is a total engine room. Between our bustling family bistro, our premier gaming lounge, and a sports bar that is always in high gear, there is never a dull moment. We are looking for a leader who thrives in the thick of the action, someone who loves being on the floor, connecting with our regulars, and keeping the standards sky-high across every department.

Job Responsibility

Get to know the locals so well they think you’re part of the crew
Support the Publican to keep the pub running smoothly, safely, and with a great vibe
Learn the ropes of being a Publican while leading a team of absolute hospo legends
Handle hiccups before they turn into headaches
Bring the energy, the service, and the smiles every single shift

Requirements

Manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries)
ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently
experience in bar, bistro, or gaming room
supervising experience
current RSA/RSG, RMLV and Approved Manager Licence as per state requirements
