Job Description:

We’re the burger restaurant with the uncomplicated formula: burgers and fries cooked to perfection, with no frozen ingredients. In every restaurant, you’ll find talented Assistant Managers who work with the General Manager and share the responsibility for the success of the restaurant’s results.

Job Responsibility:

Leading, inspiring and coaching the teams to ensure the restaurant delivers profitability, and optimises all sales opportunities while delivering an excellent level of customer service
Demonstrating leadership, coaching and direction, along with bringing our values to life for their team and our customers
Leading from the front and being hands-on, working on the line and on the dining area
Supporting the General Manager in the delivery of perfect burgers & fries, store results and providing a above & beyond experience for your team and customers
Creating an awesome working environment where people are happy to come to work and have fun while leading with our Values
Ensuring every customer is delighted with their order and their Five Guys experience
Dealing with complaints promptly in an open and honest way
Ensuring that each shift runs as smoothly as possible and that our values form part of your shift management, thinking about long-term plans
Having full ownership of your P&L, which means you will need to drive sales whilst controlling costs
Spotting potential and developing your team to ensure there is a strong talent pipeline

Requirements:

1-2 years of management experience in a similar role within a high-volume hospitality or QSR environment
Experience assisting with P&L management, controlling labour costs, and managing inventory/waste to hit profitability targets
Proven track record of leading, coaching, and motivating a team
Solid understanding of Food Safety standards, Health & Safety regulations, and maintaining 5-star hygiene ratings
Available to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Track record of driving customer satisfaction scores, increasing engagement, and consistently delivering excellent Mystery Shopper results and positive reviews
