Assistant Manager. As an Assistant Manager, you will assist the Profit Center Manager in applying Sunbelt policies. Concentrating focus on maximizing the profitability of the Profit Center ensuring it runs efficiently and effectively.
Job Responsibility:
In charge of Profit Center in the absence of the Profit Center Manager
Assess daily the need for purchasing equipment through feedback from salesman, CSRs, customer feedback, vendor representatives and marketing department product managers
Assess and modify (if needed) weekly sales plans and ensure that they are carried out appropriately
Ensure on-going compliance with all statutory DOT and safety requirements
Perform dispatching duties (if needed)
Inspect Profit Center yard daily
Ensure OSRs and CSRs are aware of slow moving equipment
Ensure that Shop Foreman is aware of all equipment not available for rent
Ensure that Profit Center Yard, facility and staff are presentable
Various reporting, including, but not limited to: daily contract reports/AP on hold/accrual reports/asset disposal report
Ensure team is meeting goals, complying with company standards through daily management
Perform other duties assigned by the PCM
Requirements:
High School diploma or GED
Valid Driver's license
1-2 years of Rental Industry experience or a Business Management degree
