We’re on the hunt for our next dynamic Assistant Manager to help keep the Golfview Hotel buzzing and loved by the locals. The Golfview Hotel is a cornerstone of the community, known for its high-volume bistro, lively sports bar, and friendly gaming room. As a busy destination for families and locals alike, we need a hands-on leader who is ready to drive high service standards and be a highly visible presence across all areas of the hotel. Job Responsibility

Get to know the locals so well they think you’re part of the crew
Support the Publican to keep the pub running smoothly, safely, and with a great vibe
Learn the ropes of being a Publican while leading a team
Handle hiccups before they turn into headaches
Bring the energy, the service, and the smiles every single shift
Be a hands-on leader ready to drive high service standards and be a highly visible presence across all areas of the hotel

Requirements

Current RSA and RSG/RCG as per state requirements
Ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently (manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties, e.g., moving stock, kegs, and deliveries)
Experience around the bar, bistro, or gaming room block
Some supervising experience
Learned from great managers
Confidence, pride, and people skills to be the face of the pub when the boss is away
