Job Description:

Job Responsibility:

  • Supervise and coordinate afternoon OR staff
  • Coordinates changes to the OR schedule with the anesthesia team and surgeons
  • Communicates with the PAR and PACU nursing staff to facilitate improved throughput of patients
  • Completes patient and family rounding and service recovery as needed
  • Make adjustments to staffing as needed to account for add on or cancelled cases
  • Provide patient care as needed to facilitate surgical needs of patients

Requirements:

  • State of Michigan RN license
  • Associate degree from an accredited nursing school (bachelor's degree preferred)
  • Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP)
  • 2 years Perioperative Experience (Preferred)
  • 3 years Leadership Experience (Preferred)
  • CNOR (Certified Nurse Operating Room) (Preferred)

Nice to have:

  • 2 years Perioperative Experience (Preferred)
  • 3 years Leadership Experience (Preferred)
