Job Description:

Assistant Manager for restaurant operations at Jaipur Marriott Hotel. Responsible for daily supervision of restaurant operations, menu planning, maintaining sanitation standards, and assisting servers and hosts. Focuses on improving guest and employee satisfaction while ensuring compliance with policies and achieving budget goals.

Job Responsibility:

Assist in daily supervision of restaurant operations
Assist with menu planning
Maintain sanitation standards
Assist servers and hosts during peak meal periods
Improve guest and employee satisfaction
Determine training needs and implement plans
Handle employee questions and concerns
Monitor employee performance
Supervise daily shift operations
Ensure proper supplies, equipment and uniforms
Communicate food quality and service issues
Ensure compliance with restaurant policies
Monitor alcohol beverage service
Achieve or exceed budgeted goals
Perform duties of restaurant employees
Open and close restaurant shifts
Interact with guests for feedback
Supervise staffing levels
Handle guest problems and complaints
Conduct on-going training initiatives
Coach and counsel employees

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED
4 years experience in food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area
OR 2-year degree from accredited university in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major
2 years experience in food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area
