As Assistant Manager of Restaurant Mirador, you will play a key role in supporting the Restaurant Manager in the overall management of the outlet, ensuring every service reflects The Ritz-Carlton Gold Standards and consistently exceeds guest expectations. You will act as an operational leader and role model, driving excellence within the team while delivering an outstanding and memorable dining experience.
Job Responsibility:
Support the daily management of Restaurant Mirador, ensuring seamless and impeccable service
Lead, motivate, and develop the team, fostering a culture of excellence, engagement, and genuine care
Oversee service flow (mise en place, timing, coordination between kitchen and front of house, and closing procedures)
Ensure compliance with quality standards, hygiene regulations, and food safety protocols
Manage reservations, seating allocation, and capacity control to optimize the guest journey
Handle guest feedback and resolve any issues with professionalism, empathy, and efficiency
Collaborate closely with the Culinary and Sommelier teams to deliver a holistic fine dining experience
Monitor inventory, ordering processes, operational costs, and productivity ratios
Drive upselling initiatives and promote the restaurant’s culinary and wine offerings
Assume full responsibility for the outlet in the Restaurant Manager’s absence
Requirements:
Previous experience in a supervisory or Assistant Manager role within a fine dining or luxury restaurant environment
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire diverse teams
Exceptional attention to detail and passion for service excellence
Solid knowledge of gastronomy and wine service (sommelier training is an asset)
Financial awareness and experience in cost control and profitability management
Fluency in Spanish and English (additional languages are a plus)
Knowledge of quality standards and food safety regulations
Valid work permit for Spain
