Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Automation Engineer/Manager to oversee the management and optimization of all automated machinery in our manufacturing facility for Switches, Sockets, and MCBs. The ideal candidate will ensure seamless operations, maximize productivity, and drive continuous improvement across automated manufacturing processes.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage and supervise all automated machinery used in the production of Switches, Sockets, and MCBs
  • Ensure automation systems operate at optimal performance levels to consistently meet production targets
  • Analyze and optimize automated manufacturing processes to reduce cycle times, improve efficiency, and minimize defects
  • Oversee the installation, integration, and commissioning of new automated equipment
  • Recommend, plan, and lead projects for upgrading or replacing outdated equipment
  • Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) including machine uptime, hourly production, and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)
  • Prepare and present regular reports to management highlighting operational performance and areas for improvement
  • Train operators, technicians, and engineers on the proper use, troubleshooting, and maintenance of automated machinery
  • Conduct regular machinery audits to ensure safety, compliance, and operational efficiency, mitigating potential risks

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related field
  • 12 years experience
