Job Responsibility:
Drive occupancy through targeted tenant sourcing and optimized tenant mix strategies for commercial and retail assets
Monitor market trends and competitor pricing to identify opportunities for improving rental returns and property positioning
Act as the primary point of contact for prospective and existing tenants to ensure high retention and a positive tenant experience
Oversee the end-to-end lease process, including legal documentation, rental collections/arrears, and coordinating with facilities teams for unit handovers
Collaborate with internal marketing and finance teams to provide accurate data on occupancy, revenue performance, and property promotion
Requirements:
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum 7 years of experience in leasing
Strong knowledge of Malaysian tenancy laws, market trends, business development, and transaction processes
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
ability to manage stakeholders effectively
Highly motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
Proficient in MS Office
experience with Property Management Systems (PMS) or ERP software (e.g., IFCA) is an advantage
