We are seeking a skilled and motivated L2 Support Engineer to join our Workplace & Desktop Solutions team within IT Operations. This role focuses on providing second-level support for Microsoft 365 (M365) services including Teams, Exchange Online, Defender for M365, Purview, and SharePoint Online. The individual will be responsible for troubleshooting escalated issues, maintaining system health, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery. The role is based in Pune, Bangalore, or Ahmedabad and may require moderate travel.
Job Responsibility
Provide L2 support for M365 services such as Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Defender for M365, and Purview
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues escalated from L1 support
Assist in deployment, configuration, and maintenance of M365 services
Monitor system performance and implement corrective actions
Collaborate with IT teams to ensure integration and operational efficiency
Document support processes and best practices
Stay updated with M365 features and industry trends
Train and guide L1 support staff and end-users
Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support
Drive innovation and facilitate change to enhance employee productivity
Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Requirements
3–6 years of experience in IT support, with a focus on Microsoft 365
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of M365 administration and configuration
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate or Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals are a plus
Experience in infrastructure setup and process migration is desirable
Medium-level knowledge of ITIL and TCO models
Understanding of IT security policies and messaging services
