The Assistant Manager Level 1 position at Circle K involves managing the store in the absence of the Site Manager, training new hires, and ensuring the smooth operation of the car wash and vending services. The role requires strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills, along with the ability to work in a physically demanding environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Function as the manager in charge when Site Manager is unavailable
  • Responsible for ordering and stocking of vending
  • Effectively provide training to new hires
  • Able to train on Opening/Closing checklists and proper loading techniques to teammates
  • Responsible for training Fast Pass sales techniques to the team
  • Professionally responds to voicemails and emails in a timely manner
  • Able to create an effective schedule
  • Complete knowledge of Car Wash vacuum system operation
  • Able to clean the vacuum system (pressure washing the system)
  • Support the Site Manager during monthly team meetings
  • Assist with on-site Supervisor Courses
  • Supervise teammates completing PM and assess if further training is needed
  • Complete the GSR Daily Breakdown

Requirements:

  • High school diploma plus 6 months to 1 year retail and management work experience preferred
  • Leadership and communication skills including active listening
  • Experience with team building
  • Excellent sales and customer service skills
  • Ability to anticipate customer needs
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Strong work ethics and professional attitude
  • Three+ years of retail experience, with at least one year in a supervisory/management role
