Job Responsibility

  • Manage and administer the Finance Regulatory and Reporting Analytical platform, ensuring its reliability, performance, and alignment with business needs
  • Design, develop, and maintain complex data models with multiple subject areas to support advanced analytics and reporting capabilities
  • Engage with business users to gather requirements, document functional and technical specifications, and translate them into effective technical solutions
  • Manage all stages of the software development lifecycle, from planning and development to testing, deployment, and post-production support, adhering to enterprise-level change management processes
  • Facilitate and manage SIT and UAT phases to ensure smooth project implementation and delivery
  • Provide robust post-production support, addressing issues promptly and implementing performance optimizations to ensure system stability
  • Explore and implement opportunities to leverage cloud services and drive cloud migration initiatives where beneficial
  • Develop comprehensive documentation for solution architecture, technical designs, and project details
  • provide training and knowledge sharing to system users and team members
  • Lead projects independently, ensuring timely delivery of key milestones while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams and country finance stakeholders

Requirements

  • 8 to 10 years of experience in Regulatory Reporting, with a deep understanding of finance and banking
  • Proficiency in PL/SQL and T-SQL, including experience with performance tuning of functions and procedures
  • Proficiency in Informatica Power Center 10.x or SSIS
  • Experience with data modeling and tools such as ERWIN or equivalent for handling complex data models
  • Experience engaging with business users for requirement gathering and documentation
  • Clear understanding of SIT/UAT processes and their importance in project success
  • Knowledge of finance and regulatory reporting processes is highly desirable
  • Proven ability to manage the complete lifecycle of software development, including experience in large enterprises with stringent management processes
  • Capability to independently lead projects and deliver high-quality results
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong banking knowledge and troubleshooting abilities
  • In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, security, and compliance, with the ability to understand complex application and hardware architecture flows
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder engagement and team collaboration
  • Ability to work as an independent contributor while driving teamwork across functional areas

Nice to have

  • Advanced-level expertise in Power BI is an advantage
  • Understanding of cloud services and experience with cloud migration is advantageous
  • Good understanding of the Hadoop data platform and data engineering tools is an added advantage
