Use computers and computer systems to set up functions, enter data, or process information
Monitor, verify and manage acquisition and maintenance of property based systems
Assist in analyzing information, identifying current and potential problems and proposing solutions
Maintain, inspect and repair equipment
Inspect equipment or environment
Verify that computer and network operations are monitored at the property, backup/recovery functions performed on scheduled basis and administration functions for hardware, operating and application systems maintained and completed on consistent basis
Support managing IR activities to confirm property infrastructure and applications systems functional at all times
Verify solutions are consistent with client's needs and brand specific IR environment
Administer and maintain mail and email
Maintain inventories and manage IT hardware/software
Provide Internet support and maintenance
Provide cable management support
Generate systems communications for property users
Consult on specific application issues or hardware/software problems
Provide feedback to Lodging IR on application functional performance and system performance
Support determining whether events or processes comply with laws, regulations, or standards
Monitor processes and evaluate information according to SOP and LSOP requirements
Enforce IR policies and standards protecting company hardware, software and other resources at the property
Develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work
Perform assessment of needs, ensuring compliance with brand specific standards, budget and capital requirements
Determine priorities, schedules, plans and necessary resources to complete property projects on schedule and according to specification
Verify problems are correctly reported, routed, tracked and solved
Verify proper asset management
Perform on-site monitoring of all projects
Keep up-to-date technically and apply new knowledge
Demonstrate knowledge of job-relevant issues, products, systems, and processes
Provide technical expertise and support
Provide information to supervisors and co-workers by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person
Analyze information and evaluate results to choose best solution and solve problems
Coordinate property efforts, prioritize needs and communicate those needs to IR Shared Services and other systems staff
Manage vendors for property IT requirements functioning as escalation point for problem resolution
Requirements
2-year degree from an accredited university in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related major
4 years experience in Information Technology, Computer Science or related professional area
OR 4-year bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related major
certified trainer
2 years experience in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related professional area
