Job Description:

Entry level management position that focuses on supporting the day-to-day activities in Housekeeping, Recreation/Health Club and Laundry. Position works with employees to clean and maintain guestrooms and public space. Completes inspections and holds people accountable for corrective action. Position assists in ensuring guest and employee satisfaction while maintaining the operating budget.

Job Responsibility:

Support day-to-day activities in Housekeeping, Recreation/Health Club and Laundry
Work with employees to clean and maintain guestrooms and public space
Complete inspections and hold people accountable for corrective action
Oversee lost and found procedures
Prepare work assignments
Inventory stock to ensure adequate supplies
Communicate guest room status to Front Desk
Coordinate with Engineering department on maintenance needs
Supervise inspection program for guestrooms and public space
Manage linen inventory and guest supplies
Order supplies as necessary
Supervise Housekeeping in absence of Director of Services or Housekeeping Manager
Observe service behaviors and provide feedback
Handle guest problems and complaints
Review comment cards and guest satisfaction results

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED
1 year experience in housekeeping or related professional area
OR 2-year degree from accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major
Knowledge of OSHA regulations
Understanding of loss prevention policies and procedures
