Job Description

The Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Kuda Huraa is seeking an Assistant Manager – Housekeeping & Laundry who shares our passion for excellence and is dedicated to creating exceptional and memorable experiences for our guests.

Job Responsibility

  • Support the Department Head in leading, motivating, and developing the team, fostering continuous learning and upholding company values
  • Maintain an organized, efficient department while ensuring strong collaboration with other teams and representing the Department Head when needed
  • Conduct regular room, floor, hygiene, and sanitation inspections, and assist in daily Laundry and Valet operations, including inventories and linen control
  • Coordinate with third‑party service providers and ensure proper care, safe handling, and maintenance of all equipment and hotel assets
  • Take ownership of guest needs and concerns, anticipate preferences, and help create personalized Housekeeping experiences
  • Maintain accurate administrative records, schedules, rosters, and ensure staff compliance with grooming, hygiene, and conduct standards
  • Lead briefings and meetings in the absence of the Department Head, and provide fair, ongoing performance feedback to employees
  • Uphold workplace safety, ensure proper use of chemicals and supplies, support energy‑saving initiatives, and maintain well‑stocked operating supplies
  • Assist in planning, budgeting, preventive maintenance scheduling, and performing additional duties as assigned

Requirements

  • 3–4 years of relevant experience in a 5‑star hotel or resort, with previous experience in a similar role
  • Strong aptitude with proven management skills and potential for upward growth
  • Excellent command of English, along with strong numerical and psychometric abilities
  • Preferably holds a technical qualification in Hospitality Management
  • Proficiency in Property Management Systems (PMS) is an added advantage
