Assistant Manager | Golden Beach Tavern. Ready to lead one of the Sunshine Coast's most iconic family hotels? The Golden Beach Tavern is looking for a high-energy, floor-owning Assistant Manager who thrives in a busy, community-focused environment and loves the buzz of a packed house. The GBT is a suburban giant. Between our massive family bistro, high-octane sports bar, and premier gaming lounge, there is never a dull moment. We are looking for a leader who thrives in the thick of the action, someone who loves being on the floor, connecting with our regulars, and keeping the team motivated through a massive weekend rush.

Job Responsibility

  • Get to know the locals so well they think you're part of the crew
  • Support the Publican to keep the pub running smoothly, safely, and with a great vibe

  • You've been around the bar, bistro, or gaming room block, and maybe already done some supervising
  • You've learned from great managers and now you're ready to step up
  • You've got the confidence, pride, and people skills to be the face of the pub when the boss is away
  • You've got a current RSA/RSG, RMLV and Approved Managers Licence as per state requirements
