Assistant Manager - Fine Wine and Spirits Store

• Support the General Manager in recruiting, training, and leading a high-performing team focused on delivering outstanding customer service
• Build long-term relationships with clients through expert product knowledge and personalised service
• Assist in executing the annual marketing calendar, including in-store tastings, events, and promotional campaigns
• Manage stock levels, oversee inventory processes, and ensure accurate stock control
• Identify commercial opportunities and contribute strategic insights to drive growth
• Collaborate with the Buying Manager to maintain strong supplier relationships
• Stay informed on industry trends and competitor activity to support business strategy
• Ensure the store operates to the highest standards of presentation and professionalism

• WSET Level 3 in Wine and/or Spirits (or equivalent) is essential
• Experience in luxury hotel bar management or as a sommelier is highly desirable
• Minimum 3 years of experience in premium retail or hospitality management
• Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
• Passion for fine wines, champagne, and premium spirits
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
