Job Description:

Assists in managing engineering and maintenance operations with a focus on safety, security, and asset protection; responsible for budget management, regulatory requirements, and customer service excellence.

Job Responsibility:

Assists with managing the physical plant including equipment, refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, water treatment and electrical systems
ensures regulatory compliance to facility regulations and safety standards
manages and controls heat, light and power
recommends methods for energy conservation
develops specifications and requirements for service contracts
distributes preventive maintenance and repair work orders
oversees maintenance of grounds, guestrooms, public spaces, restaurants, property vehicles and recreational facilities
develops a long term plan for preventative maintenance and asset protection
coordinates with contractors for bids and construction
builds relationships with external customers
ensures fire crew has complete understanding of all procedures
conducts property inspections
inspects physical conditions of facilities
recommends or arranges additional services
selects and orders new equipment, supplies, and furnishings
manages parts and equipment inventory
ensures licenses and certifications are current
maintains property life safety systems
exemplifies excellent customer service
establishes employee guidelines
reviews guest satisfaction data
shares improvement plans with leadership.

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED
2 years experience in engineering and maintenance or related professional area
technical training in HVAC-R/electrical/plumbing
2-year degree from an accredited university in Building and Construction, Engineering, Mechanics, or related major
