Job Description:

Your task as an Assistant Manager Demand Planning is to support the creation of the Wholesale Demand Plan for the sales area EUROPE. The Demand Plan is the basis for Purchasing and significantly influences the inventory management/stock turn and re-order availability. Therefore it is also the foundation for reaching sales and inventory targets. Main KPI is the Demand Plan accuracy in consideration of availability and inventory levels.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support the creation of the Wholesale Demand Plan for the sales area EUROPE
  • Support the creation and update of the Rolling Demand Plan (RDP) for defined business segments on article level for wholesale in line with the Integrated Business Plan
  • Forecast extrapolation
  • Create analyses and statistics
  • Ensure pre-order business
  • Balance the product availability for the re-order period
  • Monthly distribution of the RDP reflecting market demand
  • Create and update size curves
  • Adherence to the observance of local and global timelines and deadlines
  • Liaise with cross-function departments on time (Marketing, Sales, Purchasing)

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • First work experience in demand planning or a similar field preferably in the sporting goods industry
  • Good analytical skills
  • Excellent numerical skills
  • Good SAP knowledge (SCM & AFS)
  • Good MS Excel skills
  • Good knowledge of MS Office (Ppt., Word)
  • Good communication skills
  • Fluent in English and another European language in writing and speaking
