We are hiring for Credit controller role with one of our clients Work location - Navi Mumbai - AiroliWork from office

Job Responsibility

  • Evaluate creditworthiness of new and existing customers using financial statements, credit reports, and industry data
  • Set credit limits based on internal risk policy and external credit data
  • Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities
  • Develop and implement credit policies and procedures to reduce credit risk
  • Coordinate with the sales team to support business growth while maintaining credit discipline
  • Lead the collection efforts and ensure overdue receivables are followed up effectively
  • Review aging reports and take appropriate actions to minimize bad debts
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legal, regulatory, and corporate requirements
  • Maintain accurate records of credit approvals, collections, and customer communications
  • Collaborate with external agencies (like credit rating agencies) when needed
  • Prepare monthly reports on credit performance and present to management
  • Train and mentor junior credit staff, if applicable

  • Coordinate with Night Manager and other Assistant Managers to ensure follow-up on guest needs and issues, keeping the Front Office Manager informed
  • Ensure adherence to all credit procedures, reviewing high balance reports and following up with Accounting
  • Cover Night Manager duties and shifts as necessary
  • Supervise and motivate the Front Office team to deliver the highest quality service and Four Seasons brand standards
  • Handle guest issues or complaints professionally and efficiently
  • Promote hotel facilities and ensure smooth communication with all other departments
