Job Responsibility

  • Own the delivery of specific weekly and monthly performance reporting for key retail partners
  • Support the commercial team with identifying key trends, risks and opportunities through analysing sell-out (Consumer) data
  • Identify and communicate data driven insights & recommendations to internal stakeholders
  • As part of a wider insights team, deliver weekly trade reviews: Owning specific area of responsibility, ensuring data accuracy & clear communication / story telling
  • Execute ad-hoc analysis & deep dives to support commercial priorities & senior team members
  • Work collaboratively with the reporting team to enable the delivery of accurate & on-time reporting, plus supporting the maintenance and improvement of dashboard & tools as needed
  • Positively impact the monthly future forecasting processes through data collection, validation & analysis of sales & inventory data for specific area of responsibility
  • Collaborate & actively build relationships with colleagues across Sales, Brand, Digital and Finance to support shared objectives
  • Continually review your objectives and development goals with your line manager

Requirements

  • A strong passion for the adidas brand and sport
  • A curious mindset with an interest in using data to understand consumer and commercial performance
  • Strong attention to detail and confidence working with numbers
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to explain data clearly and simply
  • Well organised, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Relevant working experience in insights, analytics, merchandising, or a commercial function
  • Good working knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, formulas, basic analysis)
  • Experience of using or exposure to reporting or dashboard tools (e.g. PowerBI)
  • Mindset: Curious, Questioning, agile, pro-active & action oriented
  • Interest in developing data visualisation and insight storytelling skills
  • University degree is preferred

Nice to have

Experience in editing reporting or dashboard tools (e.g. PowerBI) is an advantage, but not essential
