Job Description

Support delivery of all security operations for The Client at Powai Mumbai, reporting to Lead Security & Engineering, and ensuring full compliance, safety, and contract standards as required by the Master Service Agreement.

Job Responsibility

  • Oversee implementation and daily running of security measures: guard deployment, access control, CCTV, alarm systems, patrols, visitor management, and asset movement
  • Ensure all security operations comply with statutory, client, and audit requirements, including labor laws, safety regulations, licenses, and contract scope
  • Coordinate and manage third-party security agencies: verify staffing, check training records, monitor attendance, enforce discipline, and maintain site standards
  • Conduct regular site security audits and incident investigations
  • document findings, implement corrective actions, and maintain audit-ready records
  • Lead response to security incidents, emergencies, and crisis events
  • ensure prompt escalation, effective containment, and communication
  • Maintain all compliance registers, incident and visitor logs, guard checklists, and training schedules according to contractual and legal requirements
  • Schedule and participate in safety drills, compliance checks, and statutory audits with vendors and internal teams
  • Support BCP and emergency procedures as per site protocols
  • ensure preparedness and readiness for critical events
  • Report regularly on security performance, incidents, staffing, and risks to Lead Security & Engineering and participate in client/authority meetings as required
  • Promote a security-conscious environment and deliver continuous improvement in site safety standards

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 5+ years in security management or related field
  • Experience in vendor, team, compliance, and incident management
  • Good communication, audit, and documentation skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office and security systems
