Job Description:

We are looking for a highly analytical and forward-thinking Assistant Manager – Reporting & Distribution Forecasting to strengthen our reporting excellence and elevate our distribution forecasting capabilities. This role plays a critical part in transforming data into actionable insights, ensuring business leaders have accurate, timely, and meaningful information to drive decisions. You will own end-to-end reporting and dashboard management while also leading monthly distribution forecasts and contributing to the development of next-generation, ML-based forecasting solutions.

Job Responsibility:

  • Own and manage all reporting and dashboard activities, ensuring accurate and on-time delivery to stakeholders
  • Lead report consolidation, optimization, and automation to improve efficiency, scalability, and reliability
  • Assess new reporting and dashboard requirements, translating business needs into clear, impactful analytical outputs
  • Design and execute a long-term reporting strategy, leveraging modern analytics and visualization tools to unlock deeper insights and enhance decision-making
  • Drive continuous improvement by simplifying existing reports and eliminating low-value or redundant outputs
  • Perform monthly distribution forecasts for each distribution centre, ensuring robustness and transparency in assumptions and outputs
  • Proactively identify, investigate, and resolve irregularities or outliers in both forecasting results and underlying systems
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to continuously refine forecasting methodologies and inputs
  • Lead or support the development of next-generation distribution forecasting, incorporating advanced analytics and machine learning–based techniques to improve accuracy and responsiveness

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a structured, detail-oriented mindset
  • Experience in reporting, dashboarding, and data automation
  • Passion for leveraging new technologies, advanced analytics, and ML to drive business impact
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Understanding towards forecasting principles, ideally in supply chain or distribution contexts is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills and the confidence to challenge the status quo
