Job Description:

The Assistant Manager - Projects is responsible for overseeing projects from a Mechanical & Process Engineering perspective, ensuring timely completion, quality, and adherence to budgetary constraints. The role involves extensive coordination with clients, vendors, and internal teams, as well as documentation and compliance with ISO procedures.

Job Responsibility:

  • Timely completion of Individual activities to maintain project time lines
  • Quality of Work and material
  • Timely, complete, and Clear communication with Client, Vendors and HO
  • Minimising Non-Moving inventory
  • Client Meetings for Documents approvals
  • Periodic site meetings along with client and Erection commissioning team to expedite the site work
  • Get all receivables as per schedules & PO terms
  • Transparency & clarity in work, actions, communication
  • Customer orientation
  • In charge of the Projects from Mechanical & Process Engineering point of view
  • Responsible for driving the Project activities towards successful execution & completion of the Project with other Project Engineers (E&I & E&C)
  • Document Preparation like DQ, IQ, OQ and FAT documents
  • Study and assess the Project Requirements
  • Project Planning, Scheduling, Expediting and Tracking of progress
  • Project Progress Reporting
  • Obtain Approvals from Client on drawings, P&ID, layouts, documents, etc.
  • Communication with Customer, supplier and inter-departmental
  • Procurement & QC coordination with material follow-up
  • Coordination with manufacturing and assembly shops
  • Customer Inspections
  • Dispatches & Transportation of material
  • Coordinating and controlling Site erection and Commissioning activities through E&C Engineers and Commissioning team
  • Maintain Project Budget within defined control parameters
  • Documentation Checks and records
  • Completion of Project within time, quality & budgetary parameters
  • Arrange for appropriate billing for payments as per PO terms
  • Coordinate with Commercial section for payment follow-ups with customers
  • Training of E&C personnel
  • Follow ISO Procedures and maintain Documents

Requirements:

  • MS Project for detail Planning + ERP Software knowledge is must
  • 10 years of experience
