Job Description:

Assistant Manager position at WET Deck restaurant in W Kuala Lumpur, responsible for assisting in daily restaurant operations, maintaining standards, improving guest and employee satisfaction, and supervising staff.

Job Responsibility:

Assist in daily supervision of restaurant operations
Assist with menu planning
Maintain sanitation standards
Assist servers and hosts during peak meal periods
Handle employee questions and concerns
Monitor employee performance
Supervise daily shift operations
Ensure proper supplies and equipment
Ensure compliance with restaurant policies
Monitor alcohol beverage service
Achieve budgeted goals
Perform duties of restaurant employees
Open and close restaurant shifts
Interact with guests for feedback
Supervise staffing levels
Handle guest problems and complaints
Conduct training initiatives
Coach and counsel employees

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED
4 years experience in food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area
OR 2-year degree from accredited university in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major
2 years experience in food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area
