Job Description:

Assists in the management of all engineering/maintenance operations with particular attention towards safety, security, and asset protection. Responsible for regulatory compliance, preventative maintenance, budget management, and leading emergency response efforts.

Job Responsibility:

Assisting with managing the physical plant including equipment, refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, water treatment, and electrical systems
ensuring regulatory compliance to facility regulations and safety standards
controlling heat, light, and power
developing specifications and requirements for service contracts
distributing preventive maintenance and repair work orders
inspecting guest rooms and common areas for satisfaction
maintaining property standards, including building and equipment licenses
managing budgets, capital expenditure projects, and preventative maintenance
leading the emergency response team for facility issues

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED
2 years experience in the engineering and maintenance or related professional area
technical training in HVAC-R/electrical/plumbing
2-year degree from an accredited university in Building and Construction, Engineering, Mechanics, or related major
no experience required

Nice to have:

Experience with energy conservation
experience with regulatory compliance in facility management
ability to coordinate with contractors for projects
