As an Assistant Management Accounts Manager at Elior, you will take ownership of a portfolio of site accounts, ensuring contract terms are accurately reflected and delivering timely, insightful financial reports. You'll play a vital role in the month-end close process, providing robust financial analysis, and working closely with stakeholders across the business to support sound decision-making and operational excellence.
Job Responsibility
Manage a portfolio of 100 site accounts, producing a P&L statement for each and ensuring all contract terms are accurately reflected
Process accruals and prepayments at month-end, ensuring site balance sheets are accurate, fully reconciled, and compliant
Perform account analysis and prepare variance commentary comparing actual results to budget
Conduct periodic contract reviews, ensuring terms are aligned with accounting records
Ensure client invoicing is accurate and consistent with P&L data
Liaise with stakeholders to understand performance, review processes, and deliver training where necessary
Provide financial support and guidance to the business as required
Monitor and review site bookkeeping systems, identifying and correcting errors
Analyze cost structures, control expenses, and optimize resource use
Identify risks, ensure internal controls, and maintain regulatory compliance
Requirements
AAT qualified or qualified by experience
Experience in people management or mentoring
Solid understanding of VAT and accounting principles
Proficient in accounting concepts with strong IT skills, including advanced Excel capabilities
Ability to perform effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
