Job Description

As an Assistant Management Accounts Manager at Elior, you will take ownership of a portfolio of site accounts, ensuring contract terms are accurately reflected and delivering timely, insightful financial reports. You'll play a vital role in the month-end close process, providing robust financial analysis, and working closely with stakeholders across the business to support sound decision-making and operational excellence.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage a portfolio of 100 site accounts, producing a P&L statement for each and ensuring all contract terms are accurately reflected
  • Process accruals and prepayments at month-end, ensuring site balance sheets are accurate, fully reconciled, and compliant
  • Perform account analysis and prepare variance commentary comparing actual results to budget
  • Conduct periodic contract reviews, ensuring terms are aligned with accounting records
  • Ensure client invoicing is accurate and consistent with P&L data
  • Liaise with stakeholders to understand performance, review processes, and deliver training where necessary
  • Provide financial support and guidance to the business as required
  • Monitor and review site bookkeeping systems, identifying and correcting errors
  • Analyze cost structures, control expenses, and optimize resource use
  • Identify risks, ensure internal controls, and maintain regulatory compliance

Requirements

  • AAT qualified or qualified by experience
  • Experience in people management or mentoring
  • Solid understanding of VAT and accounting principles
  • Proficient in accounting concepts with strong IT skills, including advanced Excel capabilities
  • Ability to perform effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
