This role has come about due to continued international and UK expansion. Our client has grown significantly over the years and now operates over 50+ sites globally, spanning UK, EMEA and APAC region. With a growing retail footprint and increasing operational complexity, this hire will play a key role in strengthening the finance function and supporting the business through its next phase of growth. Job Responsibility:
Ownership of day-to-day finance operations including AP, AR, supplier and expense management
Preparation of monthly management accounts with variance analysis
Ownership of month-end processes including accruals, prepayments, stock, and fixed assets
Balance sheet reconciliations and production of P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow
Support the Finance Director with budgeting and forecasting
Supporting commercial decision-making through analysis and reporting
Assisting with year-end audit and statutory reporting requirements
Supporting ad hoc projects such as product mix and performance analysis
Requirements:
Currently studying towards ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent
Minimum 18 months experience in a finance role, ideally within an SME or multisite or retail environment
Experience of month-end processes and management accounts preparation
Strong Excel skills
Proactive, hands-on approach with a strong attention to detail
Confident communicator, comfortable working with both finance and non-finance stakeholders
