Job Description:

Assistant Loss Prevention Supervisor position at Courtyard by Marriott Hong Kong Sha Tin, responsible for security operations, guest safety, emergency response, and team support in a hotel environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Conduct key control audit
  • Monitor electronic key boxes
  • Issue/receive master keys, radios, and beepers
  • Patrol all areas of the property
  • Assist guests with room access
  • Monitor Closed Circuit Televisions and alarm systems
  • Respond to accidents and administer first aid/CPR
  • Assist guests/employees during emergency situations
  • Notify appropriate individuals of incidents
  • Defuse guest/employee disturbances
  • Complete incident reports
  • Resolve safety hazard situations
  • Escort unwelcome persons from property
  • Report to scenes of vehicle accidents/thefts
  • Complete Loss Prevention shift summary/daily activity report
  • Maintain confidentiality of reports/documents
  • Provide paperwork for medical treatment
  • Type, proofread, and copy security reports
  • Assist in training and motivating employees
  • Assign and ensure work tasks completion

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • No related work experience
  • No supervisory experience
  • No license or certification required
  • Ability to read and visually verify information
  • Ability to visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines
  • Ability to use computers and/or point of sale systems
  • Physical ability to move at required speed (run, walk, jog)
  • Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • Lift, carry, push, pull objects up to 50 pounds without assistance
  • Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects requiring fine motor skills
  • Move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces
  • Move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces
  • Reach overhead and below knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
