Job Description:

The Assistant Lobby Lounge Manager supports the daily operations of the Lobby Lounge. The role ensures exceptional service, smooth shift execution, team supervision, and adherence to luxury service standards aligned with The Ritz‑Carlton philosophy.

Job Responsibility:

  • Oversee daily shift operations and ensure smooth service
  • Conduct line‑ups, communicate daily briefings, and assign work duties
  • Supervise, train, motivate, and coach team members
  • Ensure grooming standards, service etiquette, and brand consistency
  • Support scheduling based on labor forecasts
  • adjust staffing as needed
  • Manage guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally
  • Anticipate guest needs and maintain strong guest engagement
  • Coordinate with Culinary on daily specials and menu updates
  • Ensure all menus, wine lists, and service materials are ready and presentable
  • Maintain beverage control including inventory, requisitions, and cost tracking
  • Comply strictly with liquor laws and safety procedures
  • Support financial review including revenue, cost control, and event P&L
  • Liaise with Engineering for repairs and ensure equipment readiness
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of all service areas
  • Assist in onboarding and continuous training of new and existing staff
  • Maintain a positive and collaborative working environment

Requirements:

  • Supervisory experience in luxury hospitality preferred
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Native or Business‑level Japanese required
  • English preferred
