The Assistant Lighting Project Manager works directly with the Lighting Project Managers to plan, execute and finalize projects while adhering to deadlines and budget requirements.
Job Responsibility:
Prepare submittal packages for Lighting project managers and Senior Lighting project managers
Obtain fixture quotes and provide accurate pricing and recommendations for fixture solutions
Work directly with manufacturers and vendors regarding lead times, product availability and pricing
Communicate to all project team members regarding project status, inventory, budget, etc.
Assist with reporting and data entry while maintaining documentation for projects
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
Demonstrated knowledge of the lighting supply chain process, or have similar experience within construction-specific distribution
General knowledge of electrical contracting, lighting design, distribution and construction processes
Ability to multi-task in a high volume fast paced work environment with very tight deadlines
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Organized, detail oriented and efficient
Must be proficient with the Microsoft Office suite
