Job Description

The Assistant Lighting Project Manager works directly with the Lighting Project Managers to plan, execute and finalize projects while adhering to deadlines and budget requirements.

Job Responsibility

  • Prepare submittal packages for Lighting project managers and Senior Lighting project managers
  • Obtain fixture quotes and provide accurate pricing and recommendations for fixture solutions
  • Work directly with manufacturers and vendors regarding lead times, product availability and pricing
  • Communicate to all project team members regarding project status, inventory, budget, etc.
  • Assist with reporting and data entry while maintaining documentation for projects

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the lighting supply chain process, or have similar experience within construction-specific distribution
  • General knowledge of electrical contracting, lighting design, distribution and construction processes
  • Ability to multi-task in a high volume fast paced work environment with very tight deadlines
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Organized, detail oriented and efficient
  • Must be proficient with the Microsoft Office suite
