A long-standing neighbourhood mall in KL.

Job Responsibility

  • Tenant Acquisition: Source and secure new tenants that align with the mall’s brand while meeting specific leasing and occupancy targets
  • Lease Management: Oversee the full leasing lifecycle - from negotiation and legal documentation to tenancy renewals and relationship management
  • Strategic Support: Assist the Head of Leasing with market analysis, rental rate strategy, and monitoring competitor retail developments
  • Financial & Data Oversight: Manage rental and deposit collections and analyze tenant sales performance to track overall mall health
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with internal departments (Legal, Finance, Ops, Fit-out) to ensure seamless lease execution and mall standards
  • Reporting & Administration: Prepare leasing reports, manage tenant data, and resolve tenant queries or complaints to improve service standards

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in any field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in leasing for retail malls or commercial properties
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills
  • Prior experience within a shopping mall environment is highly advantageous
