Job Description:

Assistant Kitchen Managers at Canada's leading casual dining restaurant, Boston Pizza, oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, including the training, development and performance management of kitchen employees. They are responsible for ensuring that our most important people, our Guests and team members, have an excellent Boston Pizza experience from start to finish. They also demonstrate outstanding leadership abilities, believe in championing a fun and safe work environment and contribute to a thriving workplace culture. The Assistant Kitchen Manager leads the team during operations focusing on serving perfect food, everytime and to work with a sense of purpose and urgency.

Job Responsibility:

  • Oversee the daily Heart of House operations
  • Ensure guests and Heart of House team members have an excellent Boston Pizza experience
  • Oversee food preparation, ordering supplies, scheduling shifts, and monitoring inventory levels
  • Champion a fun and safe working environment
  • Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, including the training, development and performance management of kitchen employees
  • Lead the team during operations focusing on serving perfect food, everytime and to work with a sense of purpose and urgency

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years experience in a busy kitchen
  • Must have Safe Food Handlers Certification
  • Full-time position, open availability
  • Must be able to work late nights and early mornings + weekends and holidays
