Assistant IRD Manager

• Select, train, evaluate, lead, motivate, coach, and discipline all employees, and supervisors in the Hotel’s in Room Dining Department to ensure that established cultural and core standards are met
• daily activities and planning for outlet operation
• Describe and ensure quality of all food items, ingredients, and preparation methods, as well as provide knowledge of wine and spirits for 24-hour a day in-room dining and in-room private bar services
• Observe physical condition of facilities and equipment in the In Room Dining and Private Bar area and make recommendations for corrections and improvements as needed
• Assist with payroll, training, and all administrative processes related to In Room Dining departments

• Fluency in Spanish and English is required for this position
• A minimum of two (2) years working in Room Service department
• One + years’ experience working within a luxury hotel or similar environment is considered an asset
• Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills
• Cross-cultural sensitivity and customer service orientation
• Guest centricity and understanding of the importance of guest preferences.
