Job Description
We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Assistant Investment Strategist, Chief Investment Office (Private Bank and Premier Wealth). In this role, you will identify and analyze macro and thematic trends globally and locally, develop regional investment strategies, monitor investment performance, and contribute to client servicing and advisory in a dynamic global setting.
Job Responsibility
Identify and analyse macro and thematic trends globally and locally to meet investment needs of our clients in Asia
Conduct top-down financial market and industry research that contributes to the Asia Regional Investment Committee's investment process
Support the Regional Chief Investment Officers (CIO) and Investment Strategists to develop regional investment strategies across all asset classes
Identify the best-in-class investment products for the implementation of multi asset allocation, investment themes and other tactical ideas
Contribute to cross-asset collaboration with Asia Product Teams in steering product fulfilment for multi asset allocation and high conviction themes
Monitor investment performance of investment products for asset allocation, investment themes and other tactical ideas both on a standalone and a portfolio basis
Create investment content for CIO publications and products fulfilment in alignment of CIO House View
Contribute to direct client servicing, client pitches, prospecting events and client meetings to drive investment advisory, new assets generation and client acquisition
Requirements
Portfolio strategy, investment research and product selection experience in the finance industry, preferably Private Banking / Private Wealth Management
University degree in relevant areas is an advantage
Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and related professional qualifications are not mandatory but a merit
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills to work with a diverse team and engage in collaboration
Strong quantitative / Artificial Intelligence (AI) skills with prior experience in maintaining macro and market application
