Job Description:

Applications are invited from experienced and skilled Assistants in Nursing to join our dynamic team at Greenwich Hospital. You will be a part of a highly dedicated team working a rotating roster – AM, PM, ND, that provides the best nursing care and advice to patients with palliative care needs. We offer a stimulating workplace and a supportive team environment within the unit. Our staff are valued members of the multi-disciplinary team and are encouraged to participate in all learning and development activities.

Job Responsibility:

Provide nursing care and advice to patients with palliative care needs
Work within a multidisciplinary team
Participate in learning and development activities

Requirements:

Second-year student in Bachelor of Nursing with a desire to work in palliative care with at least six months relevant experience, or Certificate III in Healthcare with at least one year's relevant experience
Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
Effective written and oral communication skills
Commitment to ongoing professional development
Computer literacy with email and an electronic patient record system
Time management skills and ability to prioritise competing workloads within a complex environment
