Job Description

To support and assist the HSEQ Manager in the management and implementation of all HSEQ Policies, forms & Procedures throughout the organisation. To assist in the continued development and improvement of the current management system. To communicate and liaise with other departments regarding health, safety, environmental and quality data and information. Assist the HSEQ Manager in conducting monthly EHS & Quality audits and provide guidance on health and safety observations. To support senior management in driving H&S culture. Devise tool box talks and bulletins and updating statistical data in relation to near misses, accidents and incidents. Carrying out investigations when required by the HSEQ Manager. Support the HSEQ Manager in maintaining accreditations i.e. ISO 18001, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, Acclaim, Exor etc. Assist the Bid Team in tender submissions.

Requirements

  • NEBOSH
  • High levels of IT systems such as Excel, Word and Power point
  • Have a passion to learn and develop their career in health, safety, environmental and quality
  • Knowledge of Construction, Design and Management (CDM)
  • Be able to work as part of a team as well as on their own initiative
  • Ability to manage own time effectively, prioritise workload and ability to lead teams
  • At least 1 year experience in construction health and safety on site
  • Previous experience in asbestos removal and have received Asbestos Awareness training
  • Full driving license and access to own transport
