We are looking for a Passionate Leader to join our Team as Assistant Housekeeping Manager!

Job Responsibility

  • Assist in the daily supervision of the Housekeeping and Laundry teams, ensuring guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces consistently meet Four Seasons cleanliness and presentation standards
  • Support the Housekeeping Manager with team scheduling, recruitment, onboarding, training, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions when required
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, corridors, and public areas to ensure quality, consistency, and brand standards are upheld
  • Oversee daily assignments to ensure productivity, quality benchmarks, and guest expectations are consistently met
  • Conduct daily briefing meetings to communicate key operational information, including arrivals, owner requirements, special requests, and operational challenges
  • Foster a positive, motivating, and inclusive work environment that encourages high performance and engagement
  • Address guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally, resolving issues with the highest level of hospitality
  • Ensure clear communication and follow-up on guest requests, special requirements, and operational issues
  • Coordinate closely with Front Office, Engineering, Valet, and off-site Laundry to ensure seamless daily operations
  • Maintain strong working relationships with outsourced cleaning partners, ensuring service levels, cleanliness standards, and contractual expectations are met
  • Uphold all health, safety, and hygiene policies, ensuring compliance with best practices and safe use of equipment and chemicals
  • Oversee stock control and inventory management, including linens, cleaning supplies, and equipment
  • ensure accurate ordering and explore new products, suppliers, and industry trends
  • Demonstrate visible leadership and professionalism when interacting with guests, employees, suppliers, and partners.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in housekeeping supervision or a senior housekeeping role within the hospitality industry
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, support, and develop a diverse team
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a positive, approachable, and professional attitude
  • Proven service experience, with the ability to remain calm and effective under pressure
  • Strong attention to detail and well-developed problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and adapt to changing operational demands
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build effective working relationships
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hospitality systems such as Opera, Salesforce, or similar platforms
  • Fluency in spoken and written Portuguese and English
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • The candidate must hold the required authorization to work in an European country.
