Assistant Housekeeping Manager

• Assist the Director of Housekeeping to manage the Housekeeping staff to ensure guest rooms and public areas are cleaned to standard
• Oversee the staff and activities of the Laundry/Valet Department ensuring that all Rooms and F&B linen, Guest Clothing and Employee Uniforms are cleaned on a timely basis
• Ability to resolve customer complaints and handle all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible
• Assist in the supervision, discipline, and mentorship of staff and convey clear instructions and guidance to staff and establish working relationships that attain a high level of effective employee morale
• Participate in regular staff meetings to keep employees informed of hotel policies and changes and ways to increase guest satisfaction and service standards

• Minimum 2+ years of experience within Rooms Division, preferably within the housekeeping department in a luxury hotel setting
• Must have working knowledge of computers and systems
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills to work with cross-functional teams
• Good communication skills
• Fluency in English is required
• Applicants must have current work authorization in the United States
