We are seeking a detail-oriented and service-driven Assistant Housekeeping Manager to support the daily operations of our housekeeping department. In this role, you will help ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest satisfaction across all areas of the property. You will work closely with the Housekeeping Manager to lead the team, maintain quality standards, and create a welcoming environment for all guests.
Job Responsibility:
Support the Housekeeping Manager in overseeing daily housekeeping operations
Supervise, train, and motivate housekeeping team members to ensure high performance standards
Conduct inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness and compliance with brand standards
Assist in scheduling, staffing, and workload distribution to ensure efficient operations
Respond to guest requests and resolve service issues in a timely and professional manner
Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and coordinate with procurement as needed
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
Participate in onboarding and ongoing training of housekeeping staff
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance guest satisfaction and operational efficiency
Requirements:
Previous experience in housekeeping or hospitality supervision, preferably in a hotel environment
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality standards
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A proactive, hands-on approach with a positive attitude
Knowledge of cleaning procedures, safety standards, and hotel operations is preferred
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed
