Job Description

This is an operational role based at our depot, with daily attendance required at the start and end of each working day. You will support the Highway Support Officer in the selection and ordering of Category 2 schemes, with a particular focus on managing and assessing enquiries within the Confirm system. The role requires a strong commitment to meeting safety, environmental, and quality standards, while ensuring the needs of clients and stakeholders are met both internally and externally. You will also contribute to the delivery of the Ringway Hertfordshire Business Plan objectives and undertake supervisory responsibilities to ensure the efficient and effective execution of both planned projects and third-party works.

Job Responsibility

  • Carry out Enquiry investigation
  • Enquiry responses either directly or via Customer/Enquiry Coordinator
  • Undertake Insurance inspections
  • Assisting with the LICE process specifically to do with overgrown vegetation
  • Category 2 job raising on Confirm and job pack production

Requirements

  • Experienced in working with Microsoft Office
  • Software systems related to highway maintenance such as Confirm and Esri
  • Good written skills including report writing
  • Accuracy/attention to detail
  • Previous experience working and managing in the highway maintenance industry
