Job Description:

This is a maternity cover role for 12 months. Reporting to the Head of HR. You will be a key member of the HR team. You will work in a fast-paced environment. This is a hybrid role based in Birmingham.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage a team of experienced HR Business Partners, Organisational Development, Equal Pay Programme and Trust 2026/2026
  • Partner the Trust Directors
  • Be responsible for the operational delivery of services which underpin effective management, progression of cases and change programmes through HR policies and procedures
  • Proactively seek new opportunities to build relationships and provide professional advice to stakeholders
  • Provide value-added strategic support to operations in line with the Workforce Strategy and overall business objectives

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experienced manager with proven Business Partnering and Employee Relations skills
  • Ability to build effective collaborative working relationships
  • Experience of partnering other large, complex, and fast paced organisations
  • Be an effective self-starter, demonstrating excellent organisational skills coupled with the ability to prioritise work to meet deadlines
  • Must reside within a suitable commutable distance around Birmingham
  • Have the correct right-to-work documents to work in the UK
