Job Description

Perform maintenance on property vehicles and equipment, maintain golf course grounds, and support overall property appearance and safety.

Job Responsibility

  • Perform maintenance on property vehicles (i.e., tractors, trucks, utility vehicles, and electric carts) including checking oil, fluid levels, tire pressure/wear, charging batteries, and replacing spark plugs
  • Perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication
  • Maintain proper maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed
  • Maintain daily logs of operation, maintenance, and safety activities, including test results, instrument readings, and details of equipment malfunctions and maintenance work
  • Perform daily course set-up functions (e.g., changing cups)
  • Maintain turf, including performing cultural practices (e.g., aerification and topdressing)
  • Maintain bunker areas
  • Haul materials and remove debris using tractors and other machinery
  • Mow grass using a riding or walk-behind mower
  • Trim and edge grass in areas that mowers cannot reach
  • Operate chainsaw to cut trees and/or tree limbs
  • Install grass, trees, and shrubs
  • Install, maintain, and operate irrigation systems
  • Operate tractors, trucks, or utility vehicles to transport equipment and supplies
  • Monitor property grounds to ensure a pleasant appearance
  • Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures
