Located atop New Jersey’s only AC Marriott Hotel, this year-round indoor and outdoor rooftop bar and lounge offers a refined and distinctive setting. Guests can enjoy expertly handcrafted cocktails, locally brewed selections, and thoughtfully curated small plates, all while taking in scenic views of the Watchung Mountain Range. Our space features an outdoor fire pit and accommodates private, fully catered events for groups ranging from 10 to 300 guests. As the only rooftop bar in Bridgewater and the surrounding area, The Bradford provides an elevated experience for both casual gatherings and special occasions.
Job Responsibility:
Report directly to the Restaurant General Manager to elevate the rooftop operation to new heights
Lead by example, showing your team what true integrity and performance look like
Collaborate with a team of top-notch professionals to deliver an elevated guest experience that stands out
Own shifts at our chic bar and expansive rooftop, creating the perfect environment for both guests and teammates
Take charge of all Front of House operations, including human resources, operations, and marketing, ensuring flawless execution
Partner closely with the Hotel Management Team to guarantee a seamless, unified guest experience every time
Optimize staffing, keeping the team at the perfect levels while minimizing overtime
Drive the creation and execution of promotional events, collaborating with our Marketing, PR, and hotel teams to generate buzz
Establish and nurture local business partnerships, working with the Hotel Director of Sales to enhance our brand presence in the community
Step up for any additional responsibilities that come your way, all while keeping the energy high and the service top-tier
Requirements:
At least 2 years of experience as an Assistant General Manager, Service Manager, or Bar Manager at a full-service restaurant with a $2M+ volume
Promotional experience and experience with social catering events is a big plus
Thrives in a fast-growing, emerging environment, ready to adapt, innovate, and lead
Excellent communication skills—you’re a pro at building rapport with guests and teammates alike
Is a self-starter who can also work well in a collaborative team
Brings an exceptional work ethic and an upbeat, engaging personality
Is a multi-tasking champion, staying cool under pressure and getting things done
Has a positive, guest-focused attitude that elevates the team’s vibe
