KidStrong Assistant General Managers are the second in command when it comes to the center. It’s the responsibility of the Assistant General Manager to work closely with the General Manager on fostering a culture of learning and development for both their coaches and families that attend the center and delivering key business results such as sales performance and lowering member attrition. The Assistant General Manager is a talented, welcoming, and engaging leader who is focused on delivering an exceptional experience for the kids, families, and team members.
Job Responsibility
Understand center key KPIs and financials
Build and maintain relationships with KidStrong families
Oversee center initiatives (maintenance, training, brand consistency)
Daily, weekly, monthly cleaning and maintenance
Communicate coach schedule changes
Sell and schedule events (camps, parties)
Maintain lead management via CRM calls/follow-ups
Finalize sales and bookings from online sign-ups
Source and attend local events to increase brand awareness
Foster a coaching culture
Assess and document coaches based on Coach DNA
Partner with General Manager on onboarding, training, evaluating coaches
Manage staff professional development through LearnUpon
Communicate professionally via Slack and Email
Coach students (ages walking to 11) using Brain, Physical, Character curriculum
Understand and communicate the 'why' behind curriculum
Implement programming and curriculum elements
Use KS Coaches App to record data
Work in physically intensive environment (lifting up to 25 lbs, covering multiple miles)
Physically work with kids to ensure technique and safety
Requirements
Athletic or coaching background with experience working with or coaching kids ages 15 months - 11 years old
Comfortable speaking to parents/guardians
Achieve Coach Certification through the HQ Training and Certification team
Complete training through LearnUpon
Prior experience as a pediatric OT/PT is a plus, but not required
Previous experience in management is preferred but not required
Practical work experience with Google and Microsoft platforms
Previous experience with systems and platforms such as ZenPlanner, LearnUpon, CareerPlug, and ADP is preferred but not required
Intermediate knowledge of physiology, exercise techniques, and body mechanics
CPR certified
Nice to have
Prior experience as a pediatric OT/PT
