As an Assistant General Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the success of our swim lessons by managing and motivating a successful team, coordinating and reviewing class schedules and ensuring you have a school that’s set up for success at every lesson. You’ll guide new team members and families through their first days at Goldfish and be there to support them as they progress in our program and in life.
Job Responsibility:

Guide new team members and families through their first days
Oversee the quality and success of daily operations including staffing, pool operations, cash management, customer service, retail and vending department, private party operations and workplace employee activities
Direct and control daily operations to ensure the school is running according to standard operating procedures
Provide sales and marketing training to staff
Stay on track with quarterly and annual enrollment goals
Create and implement a plan of action when goals are off track
Gain high level competency in class bookings, scheduling, reporting and administrative functions
Provide a positive staff culture and offering open, honest communication
Build a team who provides quality work
Direct and oversee the implementation of the Emergency Action Plan (EAP) and all safety procedures
Requirements:
Ability to swim and pass a basic swim test (50 yards)
Must be able to obtain lifeguard CPR & AED certification
Must be able to obtain Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification
Schedule availability that includes some weekday evenings (until 8:30pm) and at least one weekend (Saturday or Sunday) shift per workweek
Ability to work the same scheduled days every week
Must be able to tolerate exposure to warm, humid settings and chlorinated environment
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
