We are looking for a motivated, energetic leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about helping kids grow. This is not a typical 9-to-5 job. As the Assistant General Manager of a KidStrong center, you are one of the driving forces behind its success. While the schedule includes designated days off, true ownership means being present when needed, whether to support your team, engage with members, or seize opportunities to grow the center. The most successful AGMs take pride in their role, embracing the flexibility and commitment required to build something great.
Job Responsibility:
Support the General Manager in leading and developing a high-performing team, creating a positive, energetic environment for coaches and members
Assist in overseeing sales, operations, and the member experience to help drive growth and retention
Partner closely with the GM to ensure smooth day-to-day center operations and consistent execution
Help drive community engagement and class growth through scheduling, outreach, and local marketing efforts
Lead from the front by coaching 3-5 classes per week and modeling the Kidstrong experience
Support recruiting, hiring, and training of new coaches while maintaining program quality and consistency
Maintain a clean, organized facility with a roll up your sleeves mindset and willingness to jump in wherever needed
Requirements:
1-3+ years of experience in management, sales, customer service, or operations
Background in children's programming, fitness, education, or athletics is a plus
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to motivate, engage, and inspire staff and members
Must be available to work weekends
Weekend availability (at least one day per week) is required
CPR Certification
First Aid Certification
EpiPen Certification
Ability to be active and energetic throughout the day
Comfortable demonstrating physical activities and coaching kids
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds when needed
Nice to have:
Background in children's programming, fitness, education, or athletics is a plus

Competitive Compensation
Base Salary: Minimum starting at $45,000+, depending on experience
Total Compensation: $45,000-$65,000+ per year (range refers to base + bonus potential)
